We are proud sponsors of the ANZ Spinal Cord Society Annual Scientific Meeting 2021

We are proud to be bronze sponsors of the Australian and New Zealand Spinal Cord Society Annual Scientific Meeting (ANZSCoS), which is being held from 27 – 29 October 2021. This year, the conference is being held virtually, and LFBIT staff Jess, Kathy, Angela, and Kirsty are presenting a poster entitled Living Well in the Community With SCI: A Journey of Partnership, and Kathy is also facilitating a workshop on the topic of Living in the Community with a Spinal Cord Injury (SCI).

There are two themes to this year’s conference, being “Hope, Care, Cure” in SCI, and “Paddling our Waka together.” ANZSCoS say these themes form the character of the community, which continues to deliver superior patient care and make advancements in spinal cord impairment research. The community works together to make the lives of spinal cord injured individuals better.

“We are thrilled to be involved in this conference,” says Kirsty MacDonald, Clinical Manager for Assessment. “Laura Fergusson Brain Injury Trust’s community services are experts in complex injury intervention which includes brain, spinal and multi trauma injuries. We are also facilitating a ‘Meet the Expert’ session in addition to manning a LFBIT virtual exhibition booth!”
