When one career contributes to achieving another

Zoe joined the Trust as a casual Support worker, just as the Covid 19 lockdown occurred in NZ. Within a few months Zoe applied for and was appointed to a permanent part time role. In addition to working at the Trust during this difficult time, Zoe was studying to become a Registered Nurse.

When Zoe was recently interviewed for her first Registered Nurse role post completing her qualification, the Nurse Manager said how much she valued the experience that Laura Fergusson gave Support Workers, and that this experience would prove invaluable in Zoe’s nursing career. “It really helped me get the job!” says Zoe.

Congratulations Zoe on securing your first role as an RN. We are very proud of you, and thank you, for all you have contributed during your employment at LFBIT. We wish you all the best in your new career.
